This expansive, modern family home is the winner of this year's HIA Perth Framed House $300,001 - $500,000 Award.
While it's a new build, elements of the old house that once stood on the block have been re-purposed, adding a sentimental touch. When the owners first contacted us, they were struggling to get their existing plans to meet their specific requirements and style, however with the help of our Designer, together we created a dynamic lay out centered around their social lifestyle.
Our clients were open to trying different materials which allowed us to utilise EPS panels for thermal efficiency, while also using striking weatherboard to break up the exterior render, along with recycled brick to add texture - some of which were part of the old house. Timber features custom made by the builder, are spread throughout the internal and external areas to soften the polished concrete floor and tie the different spaces together.
